For dining out our favourite restaurant is The Fox & Goose at Fressingfield which has two AA rosettes and comes highly recommended for superb food at good prices. The Swan Inn at Hoxne also provides a great Suffolk welcome with a huge open fire, great ale and good food. Try to book ahead whichever you choose.

Watch the world go by over a coffee at Bury St Edmunds. Dine in style at the fabulous Leaping Hare Restaurant at Wyken Vineyards, or visit the famous gardens and steam museum at Bressingham, near Diss.
The artistic coastal haven of Southwold, home of Adnams beer, the nature reserve at Minsmere,Theatrical Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings and Orford are all within easy reach. Sailing enthusiasts can enjoy activities on the Norfolk Broads near Norwich or on the estruary of the river Deben.
Flatford Mill for Constable lovers and Newmarket races are only 40 minutes by car.
